Leanne & Joe were my first clients at the shiny new (and yet very, very old) Almonry Barn wedding venue. They fell in love straight away with the barn’s rustic, romantic charm (didn’t we all). At 800 years old, Almonry Barn (and the nearby Muchelney Abbey) are steeped in history, and indeed are pretty unique – a photographer’s dream!
I didn’t meet Leanne and Joe before they booked me as their photographer for their Almonry Barn wedding. I looked forward to really getting to know them during their per-wedding shoot. I arrived at 7am at our agreed shoot location (a stunning woodland area in the Blackdown Hills) and spent a good while getting very excited about the light, the location and the shoot. To cut a long story short, Leanne and Joe couldn’t make the shoot. Their reason I’ll keep to myself for now, and hopefully in the spring, I’ll be blogging photos of the next part of their story.
