The red arrows flew over Anita & John’s reception: a farmhouse in the middle of rural Somerset. That wasn’t planned but was perfectly suited to Anita’s bold, bright theme. It was (another) hot day this summer and everybody was stood, enjoying a glass of Pimms and a canape. You can’t plan for many things on your wedding day – rain, a power cut, the Red Arrows – you just can’t plan for them! Lucky for Anita & Jon, they got planes, not rain.
The pretty little church in the small village of Henton (just outside Wells) was picture-perfect and had a gorgeous arched canopy of reaching trees, lining the pathway. Bright sprays and prickly thistles added plenty of floral interest.
